Erodium SI Fusion

Incision is made 4 inches lateral to the iliac crest

Followed by placement of the a trocar into the pelvis crossing the SI joint

A guide wire is placed, followed by dilators

Using a depth gauge the physician can measure the length of screw to be placed

Once the screw length and diameter is determined, the physician can drill to the appropriate depth and place his screw

This sequence is repeated for a 2nd and/3rd screw
